3-Day Vedic Thai Training – Futon Methods
This three-day course introduces the fundamentals of Vedic Thai bodywork practiced on the futon.
Students will learn a variety of stretching techniques, rhythmic compression, joint mobilization, and body positioning used in traditional Vedic Thai bodywork. Instruction focuses on proper body mechanics, efficient use of body weight, and practitioner positioning to develop safe and effective working habits.
Throughout the course, students will learn how to move around the receiver with ease, apply techniques without unnecessary muscular effort, and combine individual techniques into complete treatment sequences.
Working on the futon allows the practitioner to use leverage, balance, and gravity to deliver effective bodywork while maintaining comfort for both the practitioner and the receiver.
This course is suitable for Licensed Massage Therapists, yoga teachers, bodyworkers, and students interested in learning traditional Thai bodywork.
