Vedic Thai FUTON Bodywork — An Ayurvedic Approach to Conscious Touch

February 20–22 | Fort Lauderdale, FL

with Mukti Michael Buck
at Sacred Form Studio
5223 W Broward Blvd., Ste A, Plantation, FL 33317

This three-day FUTON intensive offers a holistic and classical approach to Vedic Thai Bodywork, integrating Ayurvedic wisdom, Marma Therapy, and meridian-based adjustment into a grounded, floor-based practice.

Working on a futon allows the practitioner to stay close to the earth, using gravity, breath, and alignment rather than muscular effort. Under Mukti’s guidance, students learn how Thai bodywork functions as a therapeutic dialogue between structure, energy, and consciousness.

The training explores:
• Ayurvedic principles applied to bodywork sessions
• working with Marma points to support vitality, circulation, and nervous system balance
• meridian and energy line adjustment through stretching, compression, and rhythm
• sustainable body mechanics that protect the practitioner
• breath-led pacing and intuitive sequencing
• cultivating sensitivity and presence through conscious touch

Rather than following fixed routines, this training emphasizes principle-based practice — teaching how to assess, respond, and adapt based on the individual body, constitution, and energetic state of the receiver.

This course is well suited for:
• licensed massage therapists
• Thai bodywork and floor-based practitioners
• yoga teachers and movement professionals
• practitioners interested in Ayurvedic and energy-informed bodywork

Continuing Education:
This training provides 21 CE credits, applicable for licensed massage therapists (where accepted by state boards).

Participants leave with practical futon-based techniques, a deeper understanding of Marma and meridian work, and a refined approach to bodywork as a therapeutic art rooted in presence, balance, and tradition.
