Vedic Thai Table Training

October 16–18 | Potomac Massage Training Institute
21 CE Credits

Thai Bodywork is more than a collection of techniques. It is a way of working with another person through movement, breath, rhythm, and presence.

During these three days, you will learn how to bring the principles of traditional Thai Bodywork onto the massage table. We will explore rhythmic compression, assisted stretching, gentle joint mobilization, and natural transitions that create a treatment that is both therapeutic and deeply relaxing.

This training also introduces the philosophy that has become a hallmark of the Vedic Conservatory. Along with practical techniques, we will explore the relationship between breath and movement, the energetic pathways of the body through Marma and Nadi principles, the chakra system, and the influence of traditional Anma and Shiatsu on mindful touch. These concepts are presented in a practical way, helping you deepen your awareness while enhancing the quality of every treatment.

A central focus of this training is learning to work with your whole body rather than your muscles. Through proper body mechanics, posture, and the use of body weight, you will discover how to work comfortably while offering greater depth and ease to your receiver.

This class is practical, hands-on, and designed to give you techniques you can begin using immediately in your practice. It is open to Licensed Massage Therapists, bodyworkers, yoga teachers, and anyone interested in learning a thoughtful and effective approach to Thai Bodywork.

21 CE Credits available for Licensed Massage Therapists.
