3-Day Vedic Thai Training — Futon Methods
21 CECS for LMTs
Body Soul Being Studio
This course introduces the foundations of Vedic Thai bodywork practiced on a futon. Working on the floor allows the practitioner to use body weight, leverage, and positioning in a way that creates stability, efficiency, and ease throughout the session.
Participants will learn a variety of assisted stretching techniques, rhythmic compressions, joint mobilization, and therapeutic movements that address the body as an integrated system rather than focusing on isolated areas.
The training emphasizes proper body mechanics, transitions, and practitioner positioning. Students will learn how to move around the receiver efficiently, how to apply pressure without muscular effort, and how to deliver techniques in a safe and comfortable manner.
Throughout the course, participants will explore the principles behind traditional Thai bodywork while developing practical skills that can be incorporated into professional practice immediately. Special attention is given to the flow of a session, communication through touch, and creating a treatment that feels both effective and natural.
This training is suitable for Licensed Massage Therapists, yoga teachers, bodyworkers, movement practitioners, and anyone interested in learning a comprehensive floor-based approach to working with the body.
No previous experience in Thai bodywork is required.
